This role mandates a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and the capability to work either morning and/or late afternoon shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conveys patients on their scheduled trips to and from medical centers, as well as to and from other medical facilities.
- Aids all passengers, including those with unique requirements, in boarding and disembarking from the vans.
- Maintains the cleanliness, shine, and proper functioning of the vehicle.
- Drives in a cautious and vigilant manner.
In order to excel in this role, the candidate must exhibit:
- A patient and compassionate demeanor when interacting with an elderly population, and an understanding of hearing or vision impairments.
- Proficiency in working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- At least one (1) year of experience transporting passengers within a patient/customer focused setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- A valid Florida Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Excellent driving record, must provide a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
