Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides professional and empathetic handling of all customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring that each interaction leaves the caller feeling valued and heard.
- Accurately records patient contacts, including any actions taken and resolutions offered. Transfers callers to the appropriate party following established conferencing procedures.
- Demonstrates a sincere concern for the caller’s needs and concerns, maintaining open channels of communication for feedback, compliments, and complaints. Offers a reassuring presence and a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Manages physician appointments, scheduling and cancelling as needed. Records all appointment details accurately in the computer system, and promptly communicates any changes to the patient.
- Strives to consistently exceed caller expectations by providing exceptional service and anticipating caller needs.
In order to excel in this role, the candidate must exhibit:
- Proficient in both English and Spanish.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrates patience and compassion in serving an elderly population, and sensitivity to hearing or vision deficiencies.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or customer relations.
